Subscription Management

TagOps subscriptions are managed through AWS Marketplace. This page explains how free trial works, how to move to a paid plan, and what happens if your trial expires.

You can check your current plan and account limits anytime in the console under Settings → Subscription.

Subscribe before your trial ends

If you want to keep the same TagOps tenant and the AWS account you onboarded during the free trial, subscribe to a paid plan before the 14-day trial period ends.

  1. Go to AWS Marketplace and open the TagOps product page.
  2. Click View purchase options.
  3. Under the Your offers tab, choose Available to purchase offers.
  4. Scroll down and click Subscribe.
  5. Once Marketplace updates your entitlement, TagOps keeps your existing tenant, users, rules, and onboarded account.

Don't wait until the last minute

Subscribe a day or two before the trial ends so Marketplace can apply the entitlement while your trial tenant is still active.

What happens if the free trial expires

When the 14-day free trial ends and your AWS Marketplace status shows as expired, you cannot convert that expired trial tenant into a paid plan.

If you still want a paid TagOps workspace after the trial has expired:

  1. Create a new subscription through AWS Marketplace.
  2. That new subscription creates a new TagOps tenant.
  3. Sign in to the new tenant and onboard your AWS account again—the account used during the trial is not carried over automatically.

Your previous trial tenant is separate. Rules, settings, and the onboarded account from the trial do not move to the new paid tenant.

Expired trial cannot be upgraded in place

An expired free-trial tenant cannot continue as a paid plan. A new Marketplace subscription is required, and you must onboard accounts again in the new tenant.

Free trial availability

A free trial is available once per AWS account.

If that AWS account has already used a TagOps free trial, you cannot start another free trial with the same account. Use a paid Marketplace subscription instead.

Billing changes always happen in AWS Marketplace. TagOps reflects the entitlement after Marketplace applies it.
