AWS Management¶
TagOps provides comprehensive AWS account and organization management capabilities, allowing you to connect, configure, and manage multiple AWS accounts and entire AWS Organizations from a single interface.
Overview¶
AWS Management in TagOps enables you to:
- Connect Individual AWS Accounts: Add and manage standalone AWS accounts

Individual Account Management¶

Choosing the Right Approach¶
Use Individual Account Management When:¶
- ✅ You have a small number of accounts (1-5)
- ✅ Accounts are not part of an AWS Organization
- ✅ Accounts are in different AWS Organizations
- ✅ You want to add accounts one at a time
Use Organization Management When:¶
- ✅ You have an AWS Organization with multiple accounts
- ✅ You want to deploy TagOps to many accounts at once
- ✅ You want automatic deployment to new member accounts
- ✅ You prefer centralized management through StackSets
Mixed Environments¶
You can use both approaches simultaneously:
- Organization accounts: Managed through AWS Organization Management
- Standalone accounts: Managed through Individual Account Management
All accounts appear in the same interface and count toward your subscription account limit.
Organization Member Accounts
When you add an AWS Organization, each member account you onboard counts toward your subscription account limit. For example, if you have a limit of 10 accounts and an organization with 15 member accounts, you can only onboard 10 of them.
